Simplifying the messenger: A practice’s guide to a new fee schedule

In the coming days, your practice will be receiving information regarding a new CIGNA fee schedule that will go into effect October 2010. Health Choice will be facilitating this messenger process as we have done in the past for other payers and fee schedules. As your Physician- Hospital Organization, we try to deliver information that is helpful and of use to your practice. That is why the Contracting Department at Health Choice feels that the communication regarding our messenger process would be best offered in a seminar format. The details specifying new contract requirements and fees, mes-senger terms, deadlines, and your practice’s right to negotiate will be discussed.

- Provide a RAC checklist to insure compliance
- Provide hands on auditing experience with challenging exercises
- Guide you in effective feedback to your physician and staff
